Description

The United States Transportation Command is seeking sources that possess the availability and capability to provide railway repair and maintenance services at MOTCO.



The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), 834th Transportation Battalion, Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO) owns approximately 43 miles of railroad track within the installation complex and five locomotives. The Contractor shall provide management, tools, supplies, equipment, labor and other items necessary to perform railroad inspection, preventive maintenance, vegetation control, and produce reports as defined within this Performance Work Statement. The main objectives of this contract are to ensure the MOTCO railroad system remains in a safe and reliable operating condition and the anticipated period of performance is from January to December 2024 with four annual option periods covering 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027. A final option to extend services for up to six months may expand performance through June 2028.
