The City of Santa Fe Fire Department (SFFD) invites interested parties to submit qualifications to provide social work services and opiate overdose outreach project coordination services for mobile integrated health programs provided to the community by SFFD.
SFFD is an all-hazards municipal fire department whose services to the residents and visitors of the City of Santa Fe include advanced life support transport and mobile integrated health services. SFFD strives to provide data-driven and appropriate emergency response and prevention to protect the life and health of individuals throughout the City of Santa Fe. SFFD¡¯s Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) Office is focused on programs which provide appropriate and prevention-focused mobile services which integrate the Emergency Medical System (EMS) with available community resources. The MIH SW/PC is an engaged, proactive member of SFFD¡¯s MIH and EMS team.
The MIH SW/PC works under the direction of the MIH Officer to enhance the capacity and efficacy of the SFFD Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) Office. Working collaboratively with the MIH team, the MIH SW/PC provides clinical supervision to promote best practice crisis intervention, case management, and coordination of care to high needs patients. The MIH SW/PC also provides direct services to patients during and following crisis interventions. Responsible for managing the Santa Fe Opiate Overdose Outreach (SFO3) project, the MIH SW/PC works to ensure quality and timely fulfillment of contract deliverables and oversees the SFO3 Project Evaluator.
