The City of Punta Gorda will be receiving sealed submittal responses at the Procurement Office, 126 Harvey Street, 2 ^nd Floor, Punta Gorda, FL 33950 from qualified bidders for:

SCOPE: The City desires to award an emergency contract for a contractor to furnish and deliver low-carbon corrosion-resistant chromium steel rebar; to the City’s Public Works Yard, 3130 Cooper Street, Punta Gorda, FL for the construction of seawall slabs, as required. These slabs will be used for replacement of seawalls damaged in Hurricane Irma and future potential FEMA eligible events.

Solicitation Package Protest deadline: November 28, 2022 at 3:00 PM ET

Submittal due date and time: December 2, 2022 at 3:00 PM ET or as may be amended by the subsequent issuance of addenda. Submittal packages will be opened in public at 126 Harvey Street, 2 ^nd Floor, Punta Gorda, FL.

Solicitation documents may be obtained through www.pgorda.com – Open Bids for City of Punta Gorda, Title: #F2022104/MAT-REBAR/EOC/2223. Vendor registration is free. All questions shall be submitted in writing via email to the Procurement contact. The City will not address any questions/inquiries submitted on-line concerning this solicitation posted on www.publicpurchase.com , www.thebluebook.com or any other website.

This will place the Bidder on the notification list for any forthcoming addendum or other official communications. Failure to register as a prospective Bidder and/or accept receipt of each document may cause your Submittal Package to be rejected as non-responsive if you have submitted a Submittal Package without City issued forms and/or acknowledgment of issued addenda and/or meet the Solicitation Package requirements as provided by the City.
