REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The Klamath County Board of Commissioners and the Klamath County Tax/Property Management Office are initiating this Request for Proposal (RFP) as they seek qualified developers to prepare a comprehensive master plan and develop property currently owned by the County that rests on the Foothills site located at map number R-3809-03500-00400-000 tax account # R446388 TWP 38 RNGE 9, BLOCK SEC 35, TRACT PARCEL 1&3 OF LP# 60-97. The County envisions this property as a mixed-use community that serves to be a family friendly multi-venue destination which infills redevelopment, attracting residents and visitors in the aim to elicit economic growth, as well as enhance the quality of life for Klamath County residents.

Sealed Proposals marked “Master Developer – Foothills RFP” shall be received by the Contract and Risk Manager no later than 2 p.m., September 14, 2018 at the address listed on the front page of the RFP. Proposals may be delivered via U.S. Mail or courier or hand-delivered. Proposals shall be sent to the attention of Leslie Barlow-Hunter, Contract and Risk Manager. Late, faxed or electronically transmitted Proposals shall not be accepted.
Klamath County may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may for good cause reject any or all proposals upon a finding of the agency it is in the public interest to do so.
