Scope of Work

The Work consists of the repair and rehabilitation of the maintenance bay pit slabs and supporting structures. Existing cast-in-place concrete elevated pit slabs and supports shall be removed and replaced with new pre-cast deck and structural steel supports. Portions of the existing maintenance pits shall be filled in using lightweight concrete fill. Work will include replacing all of the existing pit lighting and installation of safety equipment. Work shall be phased to complete repairs within a single pit at a time to allow for maintenance operations to continue in all other pits.
