This solicitation and any resultant contract is a stewardship project in accordance with Section 323 of Public Law 108-7 (16 U.S.C. 2104 Note, as revised February 28, 2003 to reflect sec. 323 of J.J. Res. 2 as enrolled), the Consolidated Appropriations Resolution, 2003, amending Public Law 105-277, sec. 347.
(a) The purpose of the Little Truckee Biomass Stewardship is to:
Reduce hazardous fuel loadings and modify landscape-scale wildland fire behavior;
To accomplish these objectives, the contract includes the following components: biomass chip, haul and removal, and road work maintenance
(b) Resulting Contract - Any resultant contract will be a commercial services contract with requirements for timber removal.
(c) Project Location - Project is located in T19N, R16E, Sec. 6 &7; T19N, R15E, Sec. 1, 2, 11, & 12, T19N, R15E, Sec. 8, 9 & 10; T18N, R15E, Sec. 14 & 22; T19N, R14E, Sec. 18: T19N, R13E, Sec. 16 and 22 MDB&M (Mount Diablo Base and Meridian)
