The City of Panama City will accept sealed bids in triplicate form for PC21-033 Lindenwood Drive Roadway Improvement until 3:00 p.m., CST, on Thursday, Jun 3rd 2021. Specifications may be obtained at the Purchasing Office, 501 Harrison Avenue, Room 238, Panama City, Florida, telephone 850-872-3070, or our website
There is a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting at City Hall Room 010 on May 13th 2021 at 3:00 PM.

Bids are invited upon the lump sum of work as follows: The Lindenwood Drive Improvements project consists of reconstructing the existing roadway, drainage infrastructure, and water and sewer utilities for Lindenwood Drive, approximately 2,250 linear feet. In general, the roadway and all utility infrastructure will be replaced in the same location as existing. Storm drain infrastructure will be replaced and upgraded, connecting to the existing systems at the right-of-way. Contract documents may be downloaded for free from the City’s web site at Contractors downloading the package will be responsible for checking the same web site for addenda prior to submitting their bid.

A cashier’s check or bank draft, payable to the order of City of Panama City, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid on the form provided by the City. The Contractor shall comply in every respect with all applicable laws, regulations, and building and construction codes of the Federal Government, the State of Florida, the County of Bay, the City of Panama City, and shall obtain all such occupational licenses and permits as shall be prescribed by law.

Submit bids in person at the Purchasing Department, via U. S. Mail or courier service. Proposals must be submitted int triplicate plainly marked, “BID NO. PC21-033 LINDENWOOD DRIVE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT”. All proposals must be received by 3:00 p.m., CST, on Thursday, June 3rd, 2021, at which time they will be opened, read aloud and document. Please review all documents pertaining to this request before submitting the requested information.

The City reserves the right to reject any one or all bids, or any part of any bid, to waive any informality in any bid, and to award a contract deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
