NOTICE TO BIDDERS

State University of New York at Oswego will receive electronic secured bids via the e-builder platform for Project No. 100045 Titled: Lee Hall Fuel Tank Removal until 2:00PM local time on June 29, 2023.

Proposals are to be submitted electronically via e-builder ( https://gateway.app.e-builder.net/app/bidders/landing?accountid=c1007a87-19e9-483f-98b2-599731ba4506&projectid=b0759eac-bcdf-4331-a7f0-699a32004700&bidpackageid=7a108a11-d847-4f83-b429-42735f5338eb ) . Proposals will be opened and read aloud via a conference call, with the bid results to be posted online thereafter. The original bid package is to be mailed to SUNY Oswego, Purchasing Department, 402 Culkin Hall, Oswego, NY 13126. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 131 days after the Notice to Proceed. Scope of Work:

Clean existing tank, which has approximately 15,000 gallons of #6 fuel oil. Following cleaning of tank, contractor to remove tank, berm, liner, tank foundation, and all subsequent existing features related to the tank. Following tank demo, site improvements including stormwater upgrades, paving, curbing, and infastructure for future Electrica Car Charging Stations (by Others) to be installed. Demo fuel lines into the building up to each boiler's first fitting. Existing steam heat coil to be demo'd along with platforms and stairs to be turned over to Owner.

A non-mandatory walkthru of the area where the work is to be performed has been scheduled to fully understand the parameters and constraints which affect the preparation of the bid for the same. The walkthru has been scheduled for June 19, 2023 at 10:00AM. Those who wish to participate should meet at the Lee Hall fuel tank on the West side of the building.

Contractors should submit all questions no later than June 23, 2023. All questions are to be submitted in writing and can be e-mailed to Richard Merritt at richard.merritt@oswego.edu .

Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents, deposits less than $50.00 are non?refundable Accordingly, a non-refundable deposit check in the amount of $40.00 for Documents, made payable to Plan and Print Systems is required. Requestors are responsible for shipping charges. All plan holders who receive the Contract Documents from Plan and Print Systems will receive Addenda notification by e-mail.

Bids must be submitted electronically in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. The original bid package is to be mailed to the campus after the electronic version is submitted. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and women?owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The Campus MWBE Goals are 16% Minority and 14% Women. The Campus SDVOB goals are 6%.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
