Juanita Pohl Center Siding Replacement, Design-Build Firm

The City of Tualatin invites competitive sealed proposals from qualified Design-Build construction firms for the design and replacement of exterior siding at the Juanita Pohl Center, which is the City’s adult recreation and program center, located at 8513 SW Tualatin Road, Tualatin, OR 97062. Proposals will be received until 2:00 pm PST, November 28, 2023, via email to rcontreras@tualatin.gov .

The City will hold a REQUIRED pre-proposal meeting to give proposers the opportunity to tour the site where the awarded Design-Build firm will be expected to provide services. Attendance at the pre-proposal meeting is required for any firm wishing to submit a proposal to the City. Proposers will meet on November 15, 2023, at 9:00 am, PST, at the Juanita Pohl Center located at 8513 SW Tualatin Road, Tualatin, OR 97062.

No proposal will be considered unless fully completed in a manner provided in the Request for Proposals (“RFP”) packet. Any proposal received after the closing time will not be accepted or considered. RFP packets may be downloaded from https://bids.tualatinoregon.gov or obtained in person at the City of Tualatin’s Administrative Office, located at 18880 SW Martinazzi Ave., Tualatin, OR 97062.

Proposers are required to certify non-discrimination in employment practices, and identify resident status as defined in ORS 279A.120. Pre-qualification of proposers is not required. All proposers are required to comply with the provisions of Oregon Revised Statutes and Local Contract Review Board (LCRB) Policy.

The City may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the City if it is in the public interest to do so.
