2024-08 - Janitorial Services

The City of Tifton is currently seeking sealed proposals from contractors for providing Janitorial Services at each city facility. Sealed Proposals will be accepted at the Office of the City Manager located at Tifton City Hall, 130 E. 1st Street, Tifton, Georgia until Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. RFP specification documents are available on the City¿s website at www.tifton.net. A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site visit will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, 10:00 AM, at Tifton City Hall, 130 E. 1st Street, Tifton, GA 31794 to further discuss the RFP requirements and allow facility tours to prospective contractors. The City of Tifton desires to establish a contract for Janitorial Services with qualified contractors. Contractors will be responsible for furnishing all supplies, tools, equipment, labor, supervision, transportation, and licensing required to provide janitorial services at each city facility. The areas to be serviced at each location listed herein shall include all interior rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, stairways, kitchens/breakrooms, utility rooms, and entryways. The City of Tifton will provide all cleaning products, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and garbage liners. Janitorial Services are to be provided as follows: Community Development- Services shall be provided once weekly. City Hall - Services shall be provided twice weekly. City Complex - Services shall be provided twice weekly. Tifton Police Department - Services shall be provided three times weekly.
