CTX Building 163 Air Hander Unit 5 Surgery CHW Pump Replacement The VA requires Air Hander Unit 5 Surgery CHW Pump to be replaced for the Central Texas Olin E. Teague Veterans' Medical Center located at 1901 Veterans Memorial Dr. BLDG 163, Temple, TX 76504. This is a new requirement for the Air Hander Unit 5 Surgery CHW Pump Replacement. All service shall be performed in building 163 at the Olin E. Teague Veterans' Medical Center 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive Temple, TX 76504. The vendor shall provide all transportation and materials to perform this job. The contractor shall be familiar with all terms, conditions, and requirements herein contained with warranty items and conditions in the contract. Important Dates: RFQ Closes on: 02/19/2020 at 11:59 PM CDT Projected Award Date: 02/24/2020 GENERAL INFORMATION: VA Hours of operation: Regular hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. After Hours: Times vary and must be scheduled with Contracting Officer Representative (COR); generally, after 6:00 p.m. and before 6:00 a.m. Contractor shall provide all services including supervision, labor, travel, mileage, overtime and required parts/materials. Document conditions, values and recommendations on Contractor provided forms and submit to the COR at the completion of inspection. Invoices submitted without correct purchase order/obligation document number and contract/purchase order number will not be processed. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Contractor shall obtain all need permits for the repair i.e. hot work, confined space etc. Contractor shall follow Lock out / Tag out procedures. Contractor shall contact AC Operator on duty before starting the job. Contractor shall furnish and install new CHW pump, motor and strainer to serve surgery AHU #5. Pump size shall be sized to match existing pump. Contractor shall furnish and install any new and/or disturbed insulation as needed to install new pump skid & strainer. Contractor shall disposal of all trash, metal scraps, old insulation etc. and cleanup job site. Contractor shall start up and verify proper operation of chiller plant equipment with AC Operator on duty. Any and all additional parts or repairs not covered will be quoted to the customer at a later date. The connection of the pump equipment to the existing Metasys front end, programming and commissioning of newly installed devices will be done by Johnson Controls under existing BAS contract. The work hours of the facility are Monday through Friday; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Contractor to verify with the COR for the holiday schedule / facility closure dates for the duration of the work period. All work shall be accomplished within sixty (60) calendar days from the date designated by the notice to proceed. All equipment will be tested and fully functional upon completion of installation.
