INVITATION TO BID
Hauling Services of Asphalt Material Using Solo Dump Trucks or
Truck and Transfer #3628-20B
The City of Beaverton (City) is requesting bids for Hauling Services of Asphalt material using 10-20
cubic yard dump trucks for the Public Works Department.
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 pm on February 21, 2020, at the Finance Utility Billing
Counter on the second floor at the Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton, Oregon
97005, Attention Terry L. Muralt, CPPB, Purchasing Agent. There will be a formal opening in the
Rogue River Conference Room, 2nd floor. Facsimile bids will not be accepted. Bids will not be
accepted after the stated opening date and time. Late bids will be returned to the vendor unopened.
The estimated total purchase over the life of the Contract (five years) is $1,000,000. The amount
stated is strictly based on construction activity, which may vary each year. Therefore, the total
amount actually paid to a contractor may vary from the estimated total.

Bidders are required to certify non-discrimination in employment practices, and identify resident
status as defined in ORS 279A.120(1). Pre-qualification of bidders is not required. All bidders are
required to comply with the provisions of Oregon Revised Statutes and Beaverton’s Contract Review
The City of Beaverton reserves the right (1) to reject any or all bids not in compliance with public
bidding procedures, (2) to postpone award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days
from date of bid opening, (3) to waive informalities in the bids, and (4) to select the bid which
appears to be in the best interest of the City.
