Notes:
The Blount County Board of Education is seeking Bids (ITB - No. 2024-0162) from
qualified, licensed providers for Interior and Exterior Painting Services in the
Board’s twenty-one schools on an "as needed" basis.
Bid documents may be obtained at https://blounttn.ionwave.net/login.aspx. Vendors
are encouraged to register with Blount County and submit their response through the
online bidding system at this same link. If you have any issues registering in the
online system, contact the IonWave help desk at 866-277-2645, ext. 4,
support@ionwave.net, or Blount County Purchasing, 865-273-5740,
purchasing@blounttn.org.
Bid responses are not accepted via email or fax. Bidders must allow ample
time to submit their response. No information may be submitted or modified
beyond the Response Deadline Date / Time.
Manual (hard copy) bids are an optional method of response and must be
submitted no later than the response deadline to Blount County Courthouse,
Blount County Purchasing Room 319, 385 Court St., Maryville, TN 37804-
5906. The hard copy bid form is located just after the bid information under
the header "BID DOCUMENTS" labeled "BID INVITATION." These hard copy
submissions must also include ALL documentation requested in the online
system including, but not limited to, all online bid document attachments,
response attachments, attributes and line items, and must have the Bid
Cover and Contractor Form attached to the OUTSIDE of the sealed envelope,
with any required license information included.
When registered, vendors may submit questions via the Questions tab for this ITB in
the online bidding system. Please make note of the question deadline. Prior to
bid submission, it is the bidder's responsibility to access the online bidding
system and ascertain they have received any addenda and viewed answers
to published questions and bid accordingly.
The public bid opening will be held at the response submittal deadline at Blount
County Purchasing, Blount County Courthouse Room 319, 385 Court St., Maryville,
TN 37804-5906. The opening may also be accessed via Zoom at
https://us06web.zoom.us/j/8652735744 and meeting ID 865 273 5744. Bidders
shall access the online bidding system for possible extension of this date and time. If
you have problems accessing any Zoom meeting, please phone Blount County
Purchasing, 865-273-5740.

This Bid will be opened at 1:30 PM Eastern on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 in the Blount County, TN Purchasing Office
(Rm 319 of the Blount County, TN Courthouse) and the opening will also be available via a Zoom meeting. To access
the meeting logon at: https://zoom.us/j/8652735744, Meeting ID: 865-273-5744.
Anyone experiencing trouble logging in to the meeting, please call (865) 273-5740. Hard copy submissions must
be submitted in a sealed envelope with the Bid Cover Sheet attached to the outside of the envelope. These
submission are to go to the Blount County Purchasing Office, 385 Court Street, Room 319, Maryville, TN 37804 by the
same due date and time.
Electronic submissions - Vendors choosing to submit their bids in the County's online bidding system, can upload
files into the system as soon as documentation is complete and ready to be loaded. Vendors are also encouraged to
load as many Response attachments as possible prior to the day of the bid opening. Please allow a minimum of
one hour to upload the required documentation.
Hard copy submissions - Vendors choosing to submit a paper bid are to submit them in a sealed envelope with the
Bid Cover Sheet attached to the outside of the envelope. These submission are to go to the Blount County
Purchasing Office, 385 Court Street, Room 319, Maryville, TN 37804 by the same due date and time.
