NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Saddleback Valley Unified School District, Mission Viejo, California, acting by
and through its Board of Trustees (“District”), will accept sealed Bids for award of a Contract for Informal Bid

La Paz IS plumbing fixture replacement project
.
The Project requires the following license(s) C-36 . The Project duration is anticipated to be 14 calendar days.
Bids are due at 10:00am , on Wednesday, March 25, 2020
at Saddleback Valley Unified School District, c/o
Maria Ortenburger at the Facilities, Maintenance, Operations & Construction Department, 25631 Peter A. Hartman
Way, Mission Viejo, CA 92691. Bid results will be available on our website (see link below) by 10:00 A.M. the
following business day of the bid due date.
CUPCCAA: This Project is being let in accordance with the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting
Act (“CUPCCAA”) set forth in Public Contract Code section 22000 et seq. Bidders shall comply with any
requirements set forth in the CUPCCAA including all guidelines and requirements in the current California Uniform
Construction Cost Accounting Commission Cost Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual.
Qualified Contractor’s List for Calendar Year: Bids will not be accepted if a Contractor has not been added to
the Qualified Contractor List for the current calendar year. The application to be considered for the list is available
on the District website (see link below). Incomplete applications will be returned to the contractor. A contractor
must submit a complete application 5 days prior to the bid opening.

in our website (see link below). All addendums will be available to interested contractors and Bidders are
responsible to check the website for addendums issued prior to submitting their Bids.

Prevailing Wages: This is a public work project. The Contractor and all Subcontractors (of any tier) must be
currently registered and qualified to perform public work in accordance with Labor Code section 1725.5. Unless
specifically exempted by the Labor Commissioner for this Project, the Contractor and all Subcontractors shall
furnish certified payroll records as required pursuant Labor Code section 1776 directly to the Labor Commissioner
in accordance with Labor Code section 1771.4 on at least on a monthly basis (or more frequently if required by the
District or the Labor Commissioner) and in a format prescribed by the Labor Commissioner. Unless specifically
exempted by the Labor Commissioner for this Project, monitoring and enforcement of the prevailing wage laws and
related requirements will be performed by the Labor Commissioner/ Department of Labor Standards Enforcement
(DLSE).
