HVAC GUARANTEED MAINTENANCE PM & SERVICE

The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is soliciting bids for HVAC
GUARANTEED MAINTENANCE PM & SERVICE. Your firm is invited to submit a
bid. Please send your completed bid clearly marked "HVAC GUARANTEED
MAINTENANCE PM & SERVICE” to the undersigned by 2:00 PM, Dayton (EST),
JULY 20, 2020. Bids may be hand delivered, mailed or sent by delivery services addressed to:
Director of Procurement, Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority, 4 S. Main Street, Dayton,
OH 45402. Please allow additional working days for U.S. Postal Service delivery. If you will be
attending the Bid Opening, plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early as there is no parking available
at our facility and you will need to locate public parking. A Pre-Bid Conference for this
procurement will be held on June 26, 2020 at 09:00 AM (EST) at Wright Stop Plaza, 3rd Floor
Conference Room. All Bidders are encouraged to attend. Any questions or inquiries should be
submitted in writing to ensure accuracy. All attendees to the Pre-Bid Conference and or Bid
Openings are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks,
bandanas or other cloth coverings around their nose and mouth to prevent the spread of COVID-
19. Please reserve a seat by calling Chad Messer at 937-425-8311 no later than June 24, 2020 by
4:00 PM (EST). This will allow RTA to plan for adequate social distancing. If adequate
spacing is not available, vendors that did not reserve a seat will not be allowed to attend
the pre-bid conference.
DBE Participation: It is the policy of the Department of Transportation (DOT) that DBE’s, as
defined in 49 CFR, Parts 23 and 26, shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in the
performance of contracts financed in whole or in part with federal funds under this Agreement.
Although the DBE goal for this procurement is 0%, RTA welcomes DBE participation.
BASIS OF AWARD: The award of this order is based on the lowest responsive and responsible
bidder(s) as determined by the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA). The RTA has
the right to make award(s) on the basis of each individual item or any combination of items, or in
the aggregate of all items.
Any interpretation, correction or change of the bid documents will be made by addendum.
Interpretations, corrections or changes made in any other manner will not be binding, and bidders
shall not rely upon such interpretations, corrections and changes. Addenda will be mailed to every
bidder of record.

page of our website, http://proc.greaterdaytonrta.org. Please continue checking the website for any
updates or addenda. If you have received this bid package via email or regular mail, all addenda
will also be sent to you by the same method.
