Description

1. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT TO BE USED FOR MARKET ANALYSIS ONLY, TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF SMALL BUSINESS CATEGORIES, FOR POTENTIAL SET-ASIDES. NO AWARDS WILL BE MADE FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THEREFORE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION. RESPONSES WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE STRATEGY FOR THE FUTURE ACQUISITION.

2. AFTC/PZIOB – CE Support Service Branch at Edwards AFB, CA, is conducting market research to identify potential small business sources including 8(a), veteran-owned small business (VOSB), service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), HUBZone small business, small disadvantage business (SDB), and women-owned small business (WOSB) concerns with the capacity and technical capability necessary to successfully inspect, clean, operationally test, and maintain commercial kitchen exhaust systems (KES) hoods, ducts and return air vents at the required frequency in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 96, manufacturer's listed procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local rules and regulations. The Contractor shall clean and degrease the hoods, grease removal devices, filters, exhaust fans, exhaust ducts, immediate exterior roof/wall surface areas, and other related components/appurtenances. Each item shall be free of all grease, debris, cleaning residue, trash and standing water after cleaning of each system. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this notice is 561790 and the small business size standard is $8.0M

3. All interested parties are invited to provide the following information for your company and for any teaming or joint venture partners. Interested parties are requested to submit a Statement of Capability outlining past work relative to this requirement.

5. Contractors capable of providing these services should submit a Statement of Capability containing the above referenced information via e-mail to the persons stated below in paragraph six (6). Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is strictly voluntary. Responses will not be returned. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of response, or the Government's use of such information. The information obtained from industry responses to this notice may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and future Request for Quote (RFQ).
