ADVERTISEMENT & INVITATION TO BID
NOTICE OF BIDS FOR:
HOME TO SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION
FOR THE WINCHENDON PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Bidders are invited to furnish the Winchendon Public Schools with HOME TO SCHOOL BUS
TRANSPORTATION beginning School Year 2025-2026. A complete set of bid documents may be obtained
from the Superintendent’s Office, 175 Grove Street, Winchendon, MA 01475 or by calling 978-297-0031 or
sending an email to llatoria@winchendonk12.org. The bid documents will also be available on the Winchendon
Public Schools website. All prospective bidders must contact the Superintendent’s Office, care of Liz Latoria,
School Business Manager, (llatoria@winchendonk12.org) to be entered onto the official prospective bidders
listing. Also, there is a Pre-Bid Meeting in the Central Office scheduled for February 13, 2025 @ 11:00 a.m.
Attendance is optional.
Bids will be accepted at the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, 175 Grove Street, Winchendon, MA,
01475 until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. At 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 bids
shall be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be accepted only if received no later than Tuesday, February
25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. In hand deliveries shall be accepted only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
at the Office of the Superintendent of Schools with one (1) original bid, marked ORIGINAL and one (1) copy
bid, marked COPY. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked:

School Bus Transportation Bid
Due: 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 25, 2025
All bids are subject to the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30b. No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty days
after the date designated above for the receipt of bids. The contract shall be awarded to the bidder who submits
the lowest total responsible and responsive bid for this academic three-year contract with two (2) option years,
and who is determined by the Interim Superintendent and/or School Committee or their designee such as the
School Business Manager, to be the most capable and reliable in providing transportation to meet the needs of
the students of the Winchendon Public Schools.
The Winchendon Public Schools School Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any
part thereof, and to make such awards deemed to be in the best interest of the Winchendon Public Schools.
