Event Description
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is seeking a 3-year contract for the purchase
and delivery of hitch-mounted cone deployment apparatuses meeting the technical specifications
which follow this overview. TDOT anticipates approximately 90 units to be purchased over the
course of the Contract on an as needed basis but makes no guarantees for any minimum purchase
quantity. The desired cone deployment apparatus is a ¿plug and play¿ solution. No tools shall be
required for hookup with a typical 2¿ box receiver approximately 18¿ off the ground, a 7-way RV
plug for DOT and warning lights, and a bumper location for the stabilizing outriggers to rest.
Delivery locations are provided in Attachment One. Delivery charges shall be included in the
cost provided for the unit.
