Description
University of New Mexico Information Technologies’ (UNM IT) is soliciting proposals for assistance with
implementing Cherwell out of the box “OOTB”. UNM IT will be implementing across integrated but
disparate Cherwell User groups and given past history with internal decision making and governance, we
decided it would be prudent to have a third-party facilitate design discussions and help to resolve
conflicts.
UNM IT needs an experienced partner to assist and guide in making foundational decisions about how to
segregate the groups and support differing workflows, but still allow cross-functional workflow and
ticketing between the groups. We have a medium risk implementation and will require guidance to make
the right decisions up front on configurations and fully understand implications of customizations.
UNM is on an older version of Cherwell and would like to take advantage of the new features and
capability in 9.x – both platform and content. This will be a considered a “new” implementation.
The implementation will be configured based on ITIL best-practices utilizing as close to out of the box
functionality as possible while delivering the agreed to requirements identified during the requirements
gathering sessions and design workshops.
