HEATING, VENTILATING, & AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS REPAIR- PA206 HORSHAM USARC
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to award one qualified 8(a) qualified small business a Firm-Fixed Price award for a construction requirement for Heating, Ventilating, & Air Conditioning Systems Repair for PA206 Horsham USARC located at: U.S. Army Reserve Center, 1300 Privet Rd, Biddle National Guard Air Base, Horsham, PA 19044.
A description of the type of work within the SOW describes: “The facility consists of two buildings which are the USARC Training Building and the Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS). Work under this contract shall occur at the Training Building. Design and construct a HVAC system, associated direct digital controls, and associated power distribution circuits. Work includes demolition and disposition of the existing HVAC system, associated direct digital controls, and associated power distribution circuits. Remove and reinstall existing ceiling tiles and grid (the latter only if necessary) to facilitate removal of existing system and installation of the new.
Design and construction include, but is not limited to, the following equipment: fan coil units, boilers, chiller, dedicated outdoor air unit, piping; ductwork; insulation; Direct Digital Control (DDC) system, conduit, conductors, overcurrent protection, safety disconnects switches, acoustical ceiling tiles, and suspended ceiling grid system. Testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) and Commissioning are required features of work.”
The contract will be made using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures as described in the solicitation that will be advertised on or around 31 May 2023. Qualified 8(a) firms will submit a conforming proposal in accordance with the solicitation.
The solicitation will be open to 8(a) qualified small businesses with NAICS 238220. The Construction Magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Qualified 8(a) firms will describe their past performance and project experience in design and construction of similar projects in accordance with the solicitation.
The Government will require a complete and acceptable HVAC system in accordance with the scope of work.
This requirement is subject to FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds.
