The following questions were asked during the pre-bid:

Q1.) Is the Hall County Government Center within city limits of Gainesville?
A1.) Yes

Q2.) Can the monument sign be LED?
A2.) Yes; but, it can only be 21 sq ft total and be Amber in color
within city limits.

Q3.) What are rules for signs within city limits?
A3.) We suggest that you visit the City of Gainesville's Building Inspection &
Permit website and review their guidelines & rules.

Q4.) What do we follow for base limits?
A4.) City of Gainesville's guidelines.

Q5.) Are the permits exempt since we are County?
A5.) Typically, we file but don't pay. Once we get to that point, we will verify
this with the chosen vendor.

Q6.) Is there power at the site?
A6.) Yes, there is power.

Q7.) Is the 90 day from notice to proceed a firm schedule?
A7.) No, schedule can be negotiated.

Q8.) Does the scope include programming (placement and messaging) all
sign locations.
A8.) No, will not include placement and messaging at all locations.

Q9.) How do we provide a price for the monument sign identifying "Gov't
Center" prior to a final design>
A9.) Hall County has decided to delete the requirement for production cost of a
monument sign in the RFP and will either bid out the production
and installation of the sign at a later date or negotiate production cost
with selected design/build team.

Q10.) Does the scope focus solely on signage for "building identification" or
for design of an entire masterplan hierarchy?
A10.) Hall County seeks the design of a sign family to include: Exterior
Hall County property identification signs (a small, a medium and a large),
Park identification signs, vehicular wayfinding signs and post and panel signs.

Q11.) Will the design process require public input or only meetings with
dedicated Hall Co. staff?
A11.) Design process will be led by Hall Co. staff, no public participation required.

During the pre-bid conference questions were raised that had the Hall County staff decide to remove the monument sign portion from the bid. We want bid
#040-10 to now be for a Signage Master Plan only. Once the master plan is in
Place, then we will put a new bid out for the HCGC monument sign.

All other terms and conditions remain the same.
