Sealed bids will be received for a contract that includes: Demolition of asphalt, concrete sidewalk, concrete curbing, clearing and grading, asphalt repair and installation, installation of concrete sidewalk, drainage structures, concrete and granite curbing, lighting and landscape material.
Bids must be received by: Wednesday, Oct 11, 2017 at 12 noon.

Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount not less than 5% of the base bid. A performance bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract amount and a payment bond in the amount equal to 110% of contract price will be required. GDOT Standard Specifications 2013 Edition and applicable amendments apply to this project.
Bid documents may be examined at the F.W. Dodge Rooms in Atlanta/Marietta, Athens Blueprint, or at the City of Greensboro Community Development Office, 111 North Main Street, Greensboro, GA 30642.

All questions should be submitted in writing no later than: Tuesday, Sept 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Questions will be answered in an addendum no later than: Wednesday, Sept 27, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
All testing will be the responsibility of the contractor and shall meet the requirements outlined in the GDOT Sampling, Testing and Inspection Guide. Contractor must use suppliers on the appropriate GDOT Qualified Products List (QPL).
The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 120 days after date of time set for opening of bids. The Contractor will be expected to complete the entire work of the contract no later than 120 days from receiving notice to proceed.
The use of GDOT Standard Specifications, 2013 Edition, and applicable special provisions and supplemental specifications apply to this project. Applicable GDOT specifications govern over any conflicting requirements that may be found in the Agreement, Supplemental General Provisions, and General Conditions.
