IMPORTANT NOTICE – Transition to City's new Source-to-pay tool – SAP Ariba

As of September, 2018, the City of Toronto will launch an online Source-to-Pay tool utilizing SAP Ariba and begin to migrate the City's Solicitations (RFQs, RFPs etc.) from being posted on the City's Online Call Document System to being posted through SAP Ariba. It is important for all Suppliers to register on the SAP Ariba network in order to continue to be able to access City of Toronto Solicitations. Pre-bid meeting: a) Bidders must attend a mandatory site meeting at 45 Goulding Ave, Toronto on January 28, 2020 commencing at 10:00 am local time. Bidders will meet at the main entrance/lobby of the centre. Please note that it is easier to access from Marine Parade Drive. Site meetings may not be available at any other times. Separate meetings with Bidders will not be held.

b) Bidders MUST attend the site meeting to familiarize themselves with the work and ascertain the full extent of the Deliverables required.

c) Bidders must sign in with the City’s representative at the mandatory site meeting and clearly indicate on the sign-in sheet the name of the firm they are representing for their Quotation to be considered.

d) A record of questions and answers as deemed relevant from the site meeting will be distributed in the form of an Addendum and posted on the online system. The City reserves the right not to answer questions at the Site Meeting but will answer questions that arise at the site meeting as part of an Addendum.

Suppliers submitting Proposals that do not attend the mandatory site meeting SHALL be declared non-compliant.

The purpose of this project is to provide State-of-Good
Repair (SGR) and Accessibility improvements, including but
not limited to: washrooms, change rooms, gymnasium, multi-

purpose rooms, common areas, etc. to support City of
Toronto Facilities & Recreation operations at Goulding
Community Centre.
The primary objective of the work described by this RFP is
for a Proponent to carry out the consulting services,
including investigation, scope definition, design,
coordination, contract documentation, contract administration
and project close-out services for the construction of the
state-of-good repair project.
Experience and Qualifications of the Supplier
Experience of the Proponent with other similar projects
Proponents to demonstrate previous successful involvement
and experience in five (5) similar projects in the last ten (10)
years that include new building(s) or building addition(s) and
site work.
Reference Projects provided to have value of not less than
$1.85M in total building renovation.
Projects completed for municipalities, or other similar clients
are preferred. Higher scores will be awarded to projects
that address more of the specified criteria.
Not all components have to be present in each reference
project, but they should be represented between all the
references.
References provided for each reference projects will be
contacted to validate information provided as well as
to evaluate the Proponents' performance on the
following:
a.) Ability to work as a team player.
b.) Demonstrate strong leadership, facilitation and
co-ordination skills.
c.) Demonstrate sound project management skills,
and technical experience.
d.) Proven ability to exercise control of Project
Schedule and Budget.
NOTE: References provided should be at the company
location when contacted, contact information is up to date,
are knowledgeable on the project listed and have worked
with the Proponent.
