Update: In response to the feedback received from industry to-date on the DRAFT Solicitation for FY 23-27 Production Sonobuoy Multiple Award Delivery Order Contract (MADOC), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) provided the attached Batch 2 non-proprietary Questions and Answers. Batch 3 is anticipated no later than COB 1 November 2021.

In response to the feedback received from industry to-date on the DRAFT Solicitation for FY 23-27 Production Sonobuoy Multiple Award Delivery Order Contract (MADOC), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) provides the attached Batch 1 non-proprietary Questions and Answers. Batch 2 is anticipated no later than COB 14 October 2021.



The Government reminds vendors that all FINAL comments to the DRAFT Solicitation are requested to be submitted by 01:00 pm EDT on 15 October 2021.



NAVAIR requests the following information, which was previously posted to SAM.gov on 09 June 2021, from interested vendor(s):




  1. What is the turnaround time to provide firm-fixed-pricing for a qualified buoy variant? Include any assumptions on the timing that the Government provides pricing points to the vendor.

  2. Please provide any production quantity minimums and/or maximums that will drive efficiencies and/or a bid/no bid.
