Forensic Accounting Services

The City of Panama City, Florida, a Florida municipal corporation located in Bay County, Florida (“City”) is requesting proposals from responsible, qualified, and responsive firms of certified public accountants to perform a forensic examination of the books and records of the Panama City Community Redevelopment Agency, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) programs. Proposals will be accepted until 1:00 p.m., CT, on Monday, November 28th, 2022, at which time they will be opened and recorded aloud in City Hall, Lower Level, Room 10. Specifications may be obtained at the Purchasing Division, 501 Harrison Avenue, Suite 238 Panama City, Florida, or our website www.panamacity.gov.

Proposals may be submitted in person at the Purchasing Division, or via U.S. mail or courier service. Sealed packages must be plainly marked, “RFP PC23-008 ~ FORENSIC ACCOUNTING SERVICES ~ NOVEMBER 28, 2022” along with the firm's name and address. Please review all documents pertaining to this request before submitting requested information.

The City of Panama City (herein referred to as the “City”) reserves the right to reject any one or all proposals, or any part of any proposal, to waive any informality in any proposal, and to award a contract deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
