The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District has a requirement to award up to three (3) Multiple Award Task Order Contracts for small construction projects located within the Pittsburgh District boundaries. The general description of the work is as follows:
The typical efforts will include, but are not limited to these areas: building construction and erection; concrete work related to building construction; building sidewalks and parking areas; roofing installation or replacement of all types of roofs; door and window installation or replacement; interior finishing; flooring installation or replacement; building remodeling; painting; exterior treatments; sewage system and water system installation or repairs; electrical, plumbing and mechanical installations or repairs; fencing and gate installation; HVAC repair and replacement and various other small building construction projects primarily within the boundaries of the Pittsburgh District.
The Contract Ordering Period will be three (3) years from the date of award. The total ordering amount over the three (3) year period shall not exceed $1,950,000.00. The guaranteed minimum amount over the three (3) year period for each contract is $10,000.00. The maximum ordering amount per Task Order is $500,000,000. Each individual Task Order shall be competed unless an exception to fair opportunity applies. Project-specific scopes of work will be included with each Request for Proposal (RFP).
This acquisition will be a 100% set aside for Small Business. The resulting awards will be for up to three (3) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Multiple Award Task Order Contracts. All responsible offerors are encouraged to participate. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 12 April 2019, online through Federal Business Opportunities (FBO.gov), therefore, requests for hardcopies of the RFP will not be honored. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this RFP, interested vendors must register as an interested vendor on the FBO.gov website. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible with providing notification of any changes to this RFP.
Contractors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) BEFORE SUBMITTING A BID ON THIS SOLICITATION (go to www.sam.gov to register). Please be aware that SAM requires a Notarized Statement as part of their registration and renewal process. This process could take more than ten (10) days. The NAICS for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the small business size standard is $36.5 Million.
