The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to assist the City of San Antonio (City) in understanding the market availability of Eviction Prevention, Property Tax Protestation training, Property Tax exemption filing support and Property Title Remediation solutions. The City of San Antonio Neighborhood and Housing Services Department (NHSD) is seeking information about resources and available programs in the San Antonio area which already exist, or which may be developed, to augment the programs currently offered by the City to residents who need to remain in their homes.

Description: The City seeks information concerning available programs offered by legal aid services,
non-profits, for-profits, small businesses, etc. which currently provide, or have experience providing,
services relating to eviction prevention, property tax protestation training, property tax exemption filing
support and property title remediation. The objective of this RFI is to strengthen City programs to
increase the number of families remaining in their homes by providing tenants’ rights workshops and
offering legal information and representation in eviction court, addressing property tax issues and title
defects. The City also seeks information concerning the availability of potential partners who can
provide any or all of these services while remaining culturally sensitive to the residents engaging in
these programs, many of whom need to receive help from individuals with bilingual or ASL abilities.
Please limit your response to no more than five (5) pages (not including any handouts or illustrations, if
needed) in Microsoft Word format. Provide your responses directly in the RFI – ATTACHMENT A
immediately after each request for information. Respondents are not required to enter information
against all requests listed. This RFI is being utilized for information gathering only.
