TOURISM Santa Fe mission is to increase awareness of Santa Fe as a world class travel destination and increase the number of visitors to Santa Fe. This is accomplished through a comprehensive and multi-disciplined marketing and sales plans that includes advertising, social media, visitor guides, email distribution, website, public relations, participation in sales missions, FAM trips and meeting planner gatherings. An important part of what we have to market and sell are the many events that take place in Santa Fe. To accomplish our goals we need to continually be aware of new opportunities for major events that will bring exposure to the city as well as cause direct increases in the use of lodging establishments and other tourism related facilities.
GFNY Santa Fe is a new bike event planned to be held on July 1, 2018. GFNY is held annually in May with over 5,000 riders from throughout the world. In addition, there are 13 GFNY events held outside the United States creating a Global Cycling Marathon Series. GFNY will be the first addition to this Marathon Series in the United States.
Contract amounts issued under this RFQ will not exceed $50,000 including GRT and all expenses. It is anticipated that contract will be effective December 11, 2017. All services must be rendered by August 31, 2018.
SCOPE OF THE WORK
Selected respondent will plan, manage and execute a GFNY event in Santa Fe on July 1, 2018. Respondent will also be responsible for soliciting and obtaining sponsorship from national and local vendors as well as local sponsors in the amount shown in the attached budget.
