NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) is soliciting bids for ESC Station Phase III Owner Furnished Security Camera Installation which work required by this contract consists of installing video surveillance cameras at 17 Light Rail Stations. Power and CAT5 cabling must be pulled from each stations communication control center (CCC) to a camera location specified in the plans, which is typically a station light pole or shelter structure. Infrastructure work will vary from station to station. Some stations will have existing conduit and poles; other stations will require installation of conduit and/or poles in soil and cement, as specified in the plans. Cameras must be assembled into an outdoor housing, which will be mounted to the pole or shelter structure. Cameras must be tested after installation. SacRT will furnish all materials.

This is a public works project financed by Federal and State funds. Contractor must comply with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws and regulations.

No DBE or SBE goal has been established for this Contract. Nonetheless, prospective Bidders are encouraged to call SacRTs Manager, Contracts and DBE at (916) 556-0151 for assistance in identifying DBEs or SBEs available for solicitation to participate on this Contract.

This is a Federally-funded and State-funded public works project for which the higher of State or Federal General Prevailing wages apply. A copy of applicable general prevailing wage rates are included in the bid document. Payment and Performance bonds will be required in the amounts set forth in the specifications. Contractor license classification at the time of bid must be Class A or Class B or Class C7, or C10.

Sealed bids must be received by the Procurement Services at 2816 N Street, Sacramento, CA 95816 by 2:00 p.m. Pacific Local Time, Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Bids will be publicly opened on the same date at approximately 2:00 p.m. in the Procurement Services Conference room at 2816A N Street.
