Emergency Home Repair Services Project

Glynn County invites qualified general contractors to submit qualifications to provide roof repair, plumbing repair, electrical repair, and environmental hazard remediation to the Glynn County Emergency Home Repair Project. Approximately 10 home repair projects are expected to be completed in the next 12 months. Qualified contractors selected through this process will form a contractor pool that will be eligible to quote on the home repair projects as assigned by Glynn County. In order to qualify for selection

(a) Contractor must be qualified to complete the full scope of potential work; and/or

(b) have previous experience subcontracting and overseeing the portion of work they are not able to complete with their own full-time employees. Respondents will be required to provide a list of subcontractors they may use to complete the project scopes of work. And will be responsible for the work of their subcontractors.

Qualified contractors will not contract with the County, but will complete work directly for the home owner. Glynn County will administer the funds and verify that the contractors are licensed, insured and have completed the work required. Contractors are responsible for obtaining any permits necessary to complete the scope of work.
