Elsevier Digital Commons and Expert Gallery Suite

Binghamton University is looking to procure the renewal of the annual subscription to Digital Commons and Expert Gallery Suite from Berkeley Electronic Press (bepress) provided by Elsevier.

This product is a state-of-the-art digital repository and publishing platform for Binghamton
University to archive scholarly works from Binghamton faculty, staff and students The platform provides an opportunity for Binghamton faculty, students and staff to promote and share their work worldwide. It also provides a publishing platform for five journals. It is widely used by faculty and students in all disciplines on campus.

The renewal also includes access to Expert Gallery Suite. The Expert Gallery suite is used to
showcase faculty expertise and enables faculty to find other faculty with similar research
interests on campus. The Expert Gallery Suite complements the ORB with a built-in API to help migrate works on the ORB to the Expert Gallery profile. It also offers faculty a space to share older works, curriculum vitaes, biographies, areas of expertise, and research interests.
Digital Commons is a specialized platform used for institutional repositories and publishing byover 500 universities and institutions.

Binghamton University intends to make an award under our discretionary
authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law 355(S)(a), which is up to $125,000 for the
above noted product. A sealed bid will not be held. If you are interested in providing
