REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL # 2024-003

Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations

The City of Salem is seeking sealed proposals from interested vendors (Offeror) for the installation, operation, maintenance, and management of a charging station to serve two (2) dedicated parking spaces downtown and three (3) alternate locations at various locations within Downtown Salem, City of Salem Parks, and Salem Civic Center, in accordance with Request For Proposal (RFP) # 2024-003.

Sealed proposals will be accepted in the City of Salem Purchasing Department, located at 114 North Broad Street, Salem, Virginia 24153, on or before 3:00 p.m., on October 10, 2023, at which time the proposals will be opened. Proposal information may be obtained by calling 540-375-3063 or emailing lmbraxton@salemva.gov .

The City of Salem reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any or all informalities or irregularities in any proposal. The City reserves the right to award as it deems in the best interest of the City of Salem.

No proposal may be withdrawn after opening except for clerical errors, as set forth in Section 2.2-4330 of the Virginia Code. Offeror must give the City a notice in writing of the request to withdraw a proposal within two (2) business days after conclusion of opening.
