AMENDMENT #1 01-14-2022
Please find the link to the updated RFP for the City of Dubuque’s Black Heritage Survey. Changes to the RFP document, outlined in these addendums, are highlighted in yellow on the new RFP. The addendum has a number of updates including:
1. Deadline extensions for the Consultant Proposals and for Question & Answers. See the updated RFP pages 13 & 14 for deadline changes.
2. First round of Questions & Answers from prospective bidders.
3. Insurance Schedule clarification. (see Question & Answer #1)
4. A copy of the Twentieth Century African American Civil Rights-related Resources in Iowa Multiple Property Listing. (see Question & Answer #4)
5. A Contact Information Permission form for those potential bidders who wish to share their information in order to collaborate with diverse talent in a proposal. (See Question & Answer #5). Please let me know if you are willing to allow me to share your contact information with other prospective bidders by Tuesday, January 18 at 12 noon.
As a reminder, the Question & Answer deadline has been extended one week (see the RFP page 13). We encourage you to ask questions and will do our best to provide guidance and support to all potential bidders by sharing the answers with those who have downloaded the RFP.

The City of Dubuque, Iowa is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified professional consulting firms or teams (Consultant) to develop Dubuque’s Black Heritage Survey. This project includes an intensive survey to develop a National Park Service Multiple Property Document Form (MPDF), researching and reporting on the families, people, events, trends and places that make up Dubuque’s history, with a lens of uncovering the history of our Black citizens.
The Consultant will be required to produce all products defined in the Scope of Work, with assistance from staff and the project team.
