It is the intent of the attached specifications to describe the minimum requirements for a 8,500 GVW HD 3/4 Ton Truck with regular cab and an 8 foot bed. Â All parts not specifically mentioned but which are necessary to provide a complete unit shall be provided by the successful bidder at the bid price and shall conform in strength, quality of material and workmanship that is usually provided by standard automotive engineering practices and safety standards. The service intended for this vehicle is for the use for daily job errands at the Landfill, hauling, and out of town travel.
