Dial-A-Ride Transportation Services 2024

The City of Malibu (City) offers a transportation service (Dial-A-Ride) to residents 60 years of age or older and to individuals with disabilities who reside within City limits. The service was established to help the senior population with transportation to doctor appointments, markets, the Senior Center, and other destinations within and outside the City.

Malibu residents’ transit needs are currently met by the regional service provided by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro); and the City contracted Dial-A-Ride services.

The City seeks proposals from qualified and experienced transit contractors to provide a demand-response transportation service program, or Dial-A-Ride, for Malibu residents. The selected contractor (Contractor) will be held to a high standard of excellence, provide excellent customer service, and respond promptly to City requests.

Proposals must be received no later than 3:00 PM PST, Friday, September 6, 2024.

All proposals are due no later than 3:00 PM PST on Friday, September 6, 2024. Any proposals received after the deadline will be considered non-responsive. No faxed proposals will be accepted.
