No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by a bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid price, made out in favor of the City of Lewiston. Personal and business checks will not be accepted.

The Contractor shall furnish proof of coverage with adequate insurance of the types and to the limits specified in the bid specifications naming the City of Lewiston as additional insured. Certificate of such insurance shall be filed with the Purchasing Agent for his/her approval before permission to commence work will be granted.
