DataRay Bar Code Maintenance Support

This is a notification of the government's intent to award a sole source procurement under NAICS code 541519: Title: Other Computer Related Services. This U.S. industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in providing computer related services (except custom programming, systems integration design, and facilities management services). Establishments providing computer disaster recovery services or software installation services are included in this industry. These services include support for its existing thermal label and wrist bands printing system that includes D2 interface to the Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Service, Resource Patient Management System (RPMS), installation services, support services and connectivity between printers and RPMS for the Clinical, Medical, and Pharmacy Departments Staff Departments. The wristbands printing system (printers) are interfaced to the Resource Patient Management System (RPMS), configuration, and support services to print patient name, Date of Birth (DOB), Health Record Number, Age, Chart Number, and Gender. Health Record Number will be bar-coded. This printing system is for patient and medication safety and also requirement for Meaningful Use, Stage 2. The contemplated award designee is DataRay Inc. This will be for Indian Health Services, Colorado Service Unit Parker located at 12033 Agency Road, Parker, Arizona 85344, for a period of five (5) years, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. (a) Authority. (1) Citations: 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) or 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1). If you can provide the services requested, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the Agency and may be e-mailed to jeremiah.murrell@ihs.gov referencing notice number PHX-SS-24-017 by 12PM EST, 12 September 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed. Information provided will be used to assess trade-offs and alternatives available for the potential requirement and may lead to the development of a solicitation. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Any solicitation resulting from the analysis of information obtained will be announced to the public in Federal Business Opportunities in accordance with the FAR Parts, 12 and 15. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response.
