The City of Georgetown is accepting sealed bids for the construction project: D B Wood Road Phase I
The project consists of furnishing and installing and providing all labor and materials required
for the reconstruction of D B Wood Road from 700’ South of La Mesa Road to North of Oak Ridge Road. Construction including widening from a three-lane roadway to a five-lane roadway and shared-use-path, grading, paving, bridge, retaining walls, waterline relocations, culverts, storm system, illumination, signing, pavement marking, improved embankment
and miscellaneous items, as more fully described in the Drawings.
Plans, specifications and bidding documents may be secured beginning Monday, April 24, 2023.

Documents may be downloaded or viewed free of charge by email request. Send request to Austin Helton (austin.helton@kimley-horn.com). It is the bidder’s responsibility to determine that a complete set of documents as defined in the Instructions to Bidders is received.
Bids may be electronically submitted through the City E-bid system accessible via City’s web site at

at 2:00 PM
and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.

Sealed bids may be received by the City of Georgetown in the Georgetown Municipal Court, Purchasing Department, at 510 W 9th St, Georgetown, Texas 78626. Please call 512-930-3764 upon your arrival.
Bidders submitting bids through the E-bid System shall scan and up-load a copy of their Bid Security (sealed Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier’s Check ) as an attachment to their electronic bid. Original documents for Bid Security will be requested by the City from the lowest two bidders and delivered to the City’s Purchasing Buyer within 48 business hours of the Bid Opening. Bid Security shall be postmarked and mailed to: Georgetown Municipal Court, Purchasing Department, at 510 W 9th St, Georgetown, Texas 78626.
