COLLECTION, DISPOSAL OF MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING SERVICES

Project Description: Sealed bids and proposals for COLLECTION, DISPOSAL, AND RECYCLING SERVICES FOR MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE FROM RESIDENTIAL AND MUNICIPAL ESTABLISHMENTS from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2027 (Option 1) or from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2029 (Option 2) will be received until 1:00 pm EST on September 18, 2024 by the Borough of Fountain Hill through PennBid. Bid specifications and bid documents can be obtained through PennBid. Each bid shall include a cashier’s check or bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total annual bid.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certificate of Non-Collusion and all other documents as specified. A performance bond will be required from the successful bidder in the full amount of the annual contract price.
Bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days, bidders may attend a pre-bid meeting at 1:00 p.m. on August 28, 2024, at the Borough offices.
The Borough of Fountain Hill reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any and all bids, and to enter into such a contract as may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough of Fountain Hill.
