The City of Yamhill submitted a Congressional Directed Spending Request in 2021 for a Water Treatment Plant to Reservoirs Planning Study. The total cost submitted for the project was $240,000. Congress agreed to earmark federal funds to cover 80% of the cost ($192,000) of this study and the city is responsible for the other 20% ($48,000).
The Water Treatment Plant to Reservoirs Planning Study would evaluate how to replace the line from the water treatment plant to the existing reservoirs.
