Chemung county Sewer District Engineering Services

The Engineer shall perform engineering services for the following tasks associated with the CSO Reduction GI Pilot Study:
a. The Engineer shall conduct a project kick-off meeting with County personnel. At this meeting, project contacts, responsibilities, scope of work, document distribution, project schedule, and requirements shall be discussed and agreed upon.
b. The Engineer shall perform mapping of the sanitary and storm sewer infrastructure within the project study area. This mapping shall include locations of storm sewer connections to the combined sewer system.
c. The Engineer shall develop mapping of areas available for GI BMP construction. The Engineer will coordinate with County personnel to determine feasibility of available locations for GI construction.
d. The Engineer shall develop GI BMP details and preliminary sizing. The Engineer is responsible for conducting infiltration testing, as applicable, for proposed GI practices.
e. The Engineer shall evaluate proposed GI BMP locations and provide alternative cost estimates.
f. The Engineer shall compile all information in an engineering report that meets with the NYSEFC EPG engineering report outline.
