The UDSA Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Operations Branch, Acquisition Division is preparing to issue a solicitation on behalf of USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Program for work to restore and stabilize a streambank using rock riprap along Caves Road in Liberty Township, Jackson County, Ohio.
CONTRACT INFORMATION:
Total Small Business Set-Aside
Place of Performance: Caves Road, Liberty Township, Jackson County, Ohio
Magnitude of Construction: between $100,000 and $250,000
The North American Industrial Classification System code is 237990, which has a size standard of $45 million. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), FAR Part 13 and 36 apply. A bid bond is not required and there will be no formal bid opening. A Request for Quote (RFQ) is being solicitated and the anticipated solicitation issue date is on or around April 17, 2024. Award will be made to the lowest priced, responsive offeror.
A payment bond (100% of the offered and accepted price) or other approved alternative payment protection will be required by the successful offeror within 7 days of award. To be eligible for contract award, interested contractors must be registered as Active and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. No state level certifications will be accepted.
