SPECIFICATONS
I.
SCOPE
The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a requirements contract with firm pricing from which the selected
Contractor will provide landscape maintenance and related services as outlined in detail in the specifications listed
herein.
II.
CONTRACT FORM
This contract will be executed in the form of purchase orders. Bid specifications and bidder’s proposal shall be
considered part of the contract.
III. BILLING
All invoices shall be submitted on a monthly basis to: Director of Finance - City of Danbury
155 Deer Hill Ave. Danbury, CT. 06810
Purchase order number(s) must appear on all invoices.
IV. CONTRACT TERM
The term of the contract shall be for a one (1) year period, effective from April 1, 2021 through November 30, 2021
with an option to renew for an additional two (2) years as itemized herein. The Contractor shall be notified by the
Purchasing Agent of the City’s intention to extend the contract period at least sixty (60) calendar days prior to the
expiration of the original contract period. Proposals for optional contract years will be considered in the City's
evaluation process and be contingent upon availability of funds.
V.
PRICE ADJUSTMENTS
Any price increase incurred to the City of Danbury shall be a result of actual increased cost passed from the
manufacturer to the supplier.
VI. LOCATIONS (ALL WORK SHALL BE COMPLETED PER MAINTENANCE SPECIFICATIONS UNLESS
OTHERWISE NOTED – SEE ATTACHED MAIN STREET ISLANDS AND KENNEDY PARK DETAIL).
NOTE: Contractor responsible for providing all plants, hayrake liners, fertilizers and mulch as indicated on
attached maps and related bid specified maintenance throughout the season.
