Scope of Work:

Proposals are now being accepted by the City of Yuma for a professional insurance broker (Broker) to represent the City of Yuma in various insurance markets including property, casualty, excess workers compensation, other insurances and related services. The company will be a qualified Broker in the public entity market and will serve as Broker of Record. The City is not requesting insurance quotations at this time and expressly prohibits prospective brokers from quoting or approaching carriers at this time. The current broker contract will expire December 31, 2017 and the new broker contract will be officially executed on January 1, 2018 and the Broker will be required to place insurance coverage effective July 1, 2018. The contract will be non-exclusive.
