1. What is the preferred method of payment for the bid bond?

1. What is the preferred method of payment for the bid bond?

As noted in the Terms and Conditions, the preferred payment form of a bid bond is issued by a surety company in the amount of 5% of bid amount made payable to the Blount County Trustee.

2. In which direction do the sewer lines run in the building?

Facing the restroom from the hallway, the sewage runs right to left about 1foot into the restroom from the hallway wall.

3. Where will the clean out be located?

Outside cleanout has been added as shown on sheet P1. See attached pdf labeled EXHIBIT D.

4. Does the women’s restroom look identical to the men’s restroom?

The girls’ restroom appears to be identical to the boys’ restroom in its layout.

5. Will the pipes along the hall be concealed in the ceiling?

From the detail on Sheet P1, “Rise 2” CW thru lay-in ceiling & route above ceiling to restrooms.” Correction is that this rise should occur where the new 2” CW first ties into existing (not at elbow across from the restroom). Clearance has not been verified.
