Description:

Baruch College of The City University of New York intends to purchase various products, as outlined below, for a period of up to three (3) years for its Library Services Department to be used by Baruch College faculty, staff, and students. Access to these products, services and resources must be provided through a single vendor.

  1. Product Requirements:

  1. Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)

Electronic access to ACM Digital Library package which is composed of approximately 1,138 publications including journals, magazines and conference proceedings.

  1. SKILLSOFT
    1. ITPro Electronic access to 1,000 titles from over 100 different technology topics published by over 100 different publishers in a single platform.
    2. FinancePro Electronic access to financial and accounting information from multiple publishers in a single platform.
    3. Skillsoft IT and Desktop Videos Electronic access to over 1,000, 3-5 minute videos that cover a variety of desktop and IT topics and highlight specific tasks and features, intended for users who are familiar with the software or hardware applications in a single platform.

  1. EBSCO

Electronic access to EBSCO’s America: History and Life which is an index of approximately 1,800 journals focusing on the history and life of the United States and Canada including the history, culture, area studies, and current affairs literature, from prehistory to the present, in a single platform.

  1. MERGENT

Electronic Access to Mergent Online with D&B Private Company Data which is a database of corporate financial histories, including capital changes and operational histories for over 10,000 US and 17,000 foreign public companies in a single platform.

  1. NAXOS

Electronic Access to the Naxos Music Library, a database that provides access to over 95,000 tracks and more than 5,000 CDs with over 2,500 composers of classical, jazz, world, folk and other types of music in a single platform.

  1. Vendor Requirements:

Vendors who are authorized to resell licenses and access to all of the products listed above must provide a letter from the publisher of each product that verifies their authority to license these products to the designated contact listed below by the date listed below.

2. Additional Information:

No Subcontracting is allowed.

Communication in respect to this procurement initiated by or on behalf of an interested vendor through others may constitute in “impermissible contract: under state law, and could result in disqualification of that vendor.

Any purchase resulting from this advertisement shall be subject to New York State Appendix A and the terms and conditions of a CUNY Purchase Order or a CUNY agreement.

The Procurement Lobbying Act (PLA) Applies to this Solicitation.

Required Forms: Vendor shall complete, sign and submit the following forms if they are selected.

  1. “Offerer’s Affirmation of Understanding of and Agreement pursuant to State Finance Law § 139-j (3) and § 139-j (6) (b)”
  2. “Offerer’s Disclosure of Prior Non-Responsibility Determinations and Certification of Compliance with State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k”
