The City of Bristol is accepting bids for the provision and installation of audio visual systems within a newly renovated Bristol City Hall, currently under construction and expected to be completed in October 2023. The selected contractor will be required to coordinate its activities closely with the City’s Construction Manager to ensure that all trades are able to successfully complete their work within schedule.
Bid documents may be obtained for a nonrefundable fee of $30.00 by downloading from the

website.
A mandatory bidder’s conference will be held on November 22, 2022 at 3:00 pm at 111 North Main Street, convening at the corner of North Main and Laurel Streets, Bristol CT.
Bids will be accepted until December 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm via the online electronic bidding system through
QuestCDN.com
. Bids received after the opening date and time will not be considered for award. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in its judgment is in its best interest.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the bidders base bid amount, in the form of a Bid Bond made payable to the City of Bristol.
The awarded contractor will be required to secure a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract award, provided by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut. The requirements for prevailing wage rates are to apply to the resultant contract award.
The successful Bidder shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, gender, or national origin. The Contractor will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, or national origin.
