Description:

The Department of Labor and Industry (DLI), Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to procure Assistive Technology Financing through the extension of low interest loans from a registered broker for the purchase of assistive technology devices and services.

The Department’s Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities (BDISBO) has developed a goal setting policy based upon recommendations from its 2018 Disparity Study. The goal setting policy requires BDISBO and agencies to identify contract-specific participation goals for SDBs (which include Minority Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, LGBT Business Enterprises, Disability-Owned Business Enterprises, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Enterprises) and VBEs (which include Veteran-Owned Small Business Enterprises and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Enterprises).

SDB and VBE Goal Information Session – via MS Teams, Monday, 03/13/2023, 1:30pm ET.

An RSVP to the SDB and VBE Goal Information Session is due via email to Nicole Moyer, nicomoyer@pa.gov by COB Friday, 03/10/2023.

Any questions following the SDB and VBE Information Session must be submitted individually and in writing via email by 2pm ET on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, to the L & I Central Procurement resource account - RA-li-OIT-BAS-Procur@pa.gov, with IFB 6100057536 - 12 OVR Assistive Technology Services in the Subject Line. All questions and responses are considered an addendum to and part of this IFB. The Issuing Office shall not be bound by any verbal information, nor shall it be bound by any written information that is not either contained within the IFB or formally issued by the Issuing Office. The Issuing Office does not consider questions to be a protest of the solicitation.
