Alternate 1:
Approximately 7.4 miles of Bituminous Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay at one (1) location in Riley County applied via one of the Construction Options listed below.
Alternate 2:
Approximately 8.2 miles of Bituminous Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay applied over four (4) various locations throughout Riley County via one of the Construction Options listed below and performing approximately 7,015 Square Yards of Asphalt Pavement Milling over two (2) various locations throughout Riley County.
Construction Options:
Option 1: Delivery of Bituminous Hot Mix Asphalt for installation by Riley County forces.
Option 2: Delivery and application of Bituminous Hot Mix Asphalt.
Option 3: Delivery and application of Bituminous Hot Mix Asphalt, utilizing a shuttle buggy material transfer vehicle during the placement process.

Nonresident contractors who are individuals or partnerships and nonresident corporations not already registered with the Secretary of Revenue are required to register with the Secretary of Revenue and to file a bond to assure payment of taxes, if the total contract price or compensation to be received amounts to more than $10,000 (K.S.A. 2019 Supp. 79-1009, K.S.A. 2019 Supp. 79-1010).

The Riley County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities in considering Bids and to accept the Bid which, in the Board’s opinion, is in the best interest of Riley County.
