April 2023 Bid for Miscellaneous Firehouse Equipment

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that sealed bids will be opened by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Nyack Joint Fire District ("Fire District") at the District Office at 6:30 p.m. on April 6, 2023 at 13 Park Street, Nyack, New York for the purchase of miscellaneous firehouse equipment. Specifications may be obtained at the Law Office of Feerick Nugent Maccartney PLLC. at the address listed below during regular business hours of9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Proposals must be sealed in an envelope on which it is clearly stated April 2023 Bid for Miscellaneous Firehouse Equipment and shall be addressed to the District Secretary, Jillana Sinnott, Nyack Joint Fire District, P.O. Box 732, Nyack, New York 10960, and received by her by mail prior to 4:00 p.m. on April 5, 2023. Bids will be publicly opened and read on April 6, 2023 at 13 Park Street, Nyack, New York at 6:30 p.m.

The award of bids pursuant to this notice is subject to appropriation of funds for this purpose in accordance with the applicable provisions of the General Municipal Law. All bids must meet the requirements of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and all other applicable statutes and have attached a statement of non-collusion. All bids for said equipment must include shipping and handling costs. Please note there is a thirty (30) day required delivery date for any equipment. All documents submitted in connection with this bid will become the property of the Fire District and the Fire District will not return bids or bid documents. The lowest qualified bidder meeting the specifications will be awarded the bid and will be notified by the Fire District. After notification of said awarded the bidder must provide to the Fire District within thirty (30) days thereof all equipment listed. The Board of the Nyack Joint Fire District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to re-advertise for same.
